St. Stephens Human Services

Current programming includes street outreach, shelter, and supportive housing for Hennepin County residents who have been referred through the Coordinated Entry System. Minneapolis Public Housing Authority

MPHA manages and maintains nearly 6,000 Public Housing rental units, including apartment buildings, single family homes, townhomes, and senior apartment complexes.

Hennepin County Housing Stabilization/ Homelessness Programs

The programs assist individuals who are homeless and in shelter. The program helps participants move into safe, affordable housing and provides case management services to obtain basic needs. For more information call 952-933-9639.

Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People

VEAP offers support applying for financial assistance and find housing stability. they also have limited direct support, visit website for more information. They have a focus on helping the undocumented community and seniors, but anyone can apply for help.

Simpson Housing Services

Simpson Housing helps thousands of people experiencing homelessness find the housing, support, and shelter they need in times of personal crisis. Their programs include:
-Emergency overnight shelter for men and women
-Stable and supportive housing for individuals and families
-Specialized programming including case management for youth designed to break the cycle of generational poverty and homelessness.

United States Department of Housing and Urban Development

Public housing was established to provide decent and safe rental housing for eligible low-income families, the elderly and persons with disabilities. HUD administers federal aid to local housing agencies (HAs) that manage housing for low-income residents at rents they can afford.
